Together with Vito Martinelli, I’ve recently co-edited the sound of Ruggine, a feature film by Daniele Gaglianone.
The movie brings the story of a group of young kids growing up in a difficult society in a Italian suburb during the 70’s. The field where they’re spending their summer playing and discovering life, will become soon the place where two young girls of the group will be found raped and killed.
As we enter the characters’ lives thirty years later, we witness the irrevocable effects of the tragic summer that represented the end of their childhood.
The movie has been presented at the 68th Venice Film Festival and released in Italy the 2nd September 2011.
